How do I get to CLE in the new system?

Log in and got to the the Learning tab!

From the Learning Overview page, you can see:

From the Overview page, view the fully library by clicking the CLE Courses tab at the top or the Browse CLE Courses button under your Credit Overview.

Do I have to start watching the programs I was partway or halfway through from the beginning?

When returning to an in-progress program, you should be returned to the point where you left off. If for some reason your place is lost, you can simply move the video progress bar to where you left off. You don't have to re-watch the course, but of course you can, if you want. When you are done watching a course, if it doesn't reflect your completion, please reach out to us, and we will fix it for you. You can reach Customer Support at:

Where do I find my credits or print my certificates?

Go to the MCLE Credits and Certificates page under the Learning tab. From there, you can view the credits you've completed, check your progress against your compliance deadline, and print or save records of all your Certificates of Completion.

If I don't see all the credits for courses I've already completed?

Certificates are found in your Learning account under the MCLE Credits and Certificates tab. If you just completed a course, please wait 10 minutes and check again. The vast majority of course completions are processed after 2-5 minutes of your completing the video.

If your program completion and certificate are not available after 10 minutes, please do not attempt to retake the class. We will have a record of the time you spent viewing the course and can provide you with the appropriate credits. Instead, contact our Customer Service at or send us a message in chat using the blue icon on the bottom right of your page, and we will ensure you get the completion records you have earned.

If you send a message or chat, please include the following information so we can promptly get you credit:

  • Your name

  • Your bar number

  • The full name of the course you watched

Where's the compliance package I purchased?

If you purchased a compliance package, the package should appear in you learning overview page when you log in. View the full package by clicking "View Package" under your compliance package title or by going to the "CLE Collections" tab:

If it doesn't show up, you can find all the Compliance Packages in the click "CLE Collections" tab at the top of the page. If you are still having trouble, you can reach Customer Support at:

Where can I view, print, or download program materials?

Download the course materials by clicking the hyperlinked document title below "Course Materials" on the right under the course thumbnail. The link to download the course materials will remain available as you view the course.

Can I download programs as mp3 files?

This feature is not currently available. We're exploring how we could add this feature, so let us know with your feedback that this is of interest to you.

How can I buy CLE?

We offer three ways to access our courses:

CLEPassport offers unlimited access to all CLE courses for a full year for a fixed monthly or annual fee. This option is available for individuals and firms, and is ideal for the attorney or firm who wants to foster professional development, increase legal knowledge, in addition to CalBar compliance.

Compliance Packages offer a curated bundle of topical, relevant courses in the practice area of your choice (we currently have 10 packages). All 25 hours of content are chosen for you within the practice area, and include the required legal ethics, competence issues, and elimination of bias in the legal profession and society credits.

CoursePasses offer a 6- or 12-credit pass to all of our CLE Courses. This option allows you to view our full library of quality content with an easier financial commitment. It's perfect if you have your eye on a particular course (or 2 or 3) or need just a few more credits to complete your compliance.
