Codebase Error -330, "Tag Name Not Found"

It's an index file problem. If you've tried rebooting your computer first and are sure you have a consistent connection to the network let's try to reindex the database and that may resolve the error message.

Here's what to do:

1. Make sure everyone is close out of Essential Forms in the office.

Open the Essential Forms program just on your computer.

Click View>System Information. Look at Network>"Current Users" it must be "1" for the reindex to work. If it is, then close that System Info window.

Click Configure>Preferences>Database Tab. In that window check the box, "Reindex Databases On Program Launch" (leave the other boxes checked that were already checked). Then, click "OK". Close and reopen the program. Go back in Configure>Preferences>Database Tab and UNcheck that box, "Reindex Databases On Program Launch" (leave the other boxes checked). Then, click "OK". Do you still get the error message, Codebase Error -330, "Tag Name Not Found"? If not, that's it! If you do, then try the next step.

Go back into Essential Forms, click Configure>Preferences>Database Tab. In that window check the box, "Pack Databases On Program Launch", (leave the other boxes checked that were already checked). Then, click "OK". Close and reopen the program. Go back in Configure>Preferences>Database Tab and UNcheck that box, "Pack Databases On Program Launch" (leave the other boxes checked). Then, click "OK". Do you still get the error message, Codebase Error -330, "Tag Name Not Found"? If not, that's it! If you do, then try the next step.

Go back into Essential Forms, click Configure>Preferences>Database Tab, check the box, "Database Cleanup On Program Launch" (leave the other boxes checked that were already checked). Then, click "OK". Close and reopen the program. Go back into Configure>Preferences>Database Tab and UNcheck that box, "Pack Databases On Program Launch" (leave the other boxes checked). Then, click "OK". Do you still get the error message, Codebase Error -330, "Tag Name Not Found"? If not, that's it! If you do, then try the next step.

2. I suggest a reboot of your server. See if after a server reboot your still getting the Codebase Error -330, "Tag Name Not Found"? If you do, then try the next step.

3. If the above suggestions do not fix the issue a backup of the Essential Forms Data folder would need to be restored.
