What products does the AccessLaw™ Program make available to paralegal students, faculty, and staff?

CEB's AccessLaw Program offers free access to Practitioner and our CLE Passport to the paralegal students, faculty, and staff at Cerritos College, Santa Ana College, University of San Diego, and American River College.

Practitioner: CEB’s complete legal research solution. Get everything CEB offers in your practice area, including California-specific workflows and county-specific How-To Guides, as well as our authoritative practice guides. Research California, 9th Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court cases and California statutes. Includes TrueCite™, so you can always be sure the cases you’re citing to contain good law.

CLE Passport: Your Passport offers you unlimited CLE with 24/7 access to CEB’s complete library of on-demand CLE videos, with over 600 programs and 900+ hours to choose from. New content is added every week, so you can be sure there’s always robust coverage of the topics and issues that are relevant to you.

What discounts are available for CEB digital and print titles?

Practitioner provides paralegal students, faculty, and staff with free access to all CEB digital titles. Practitioner does not offer discounts for print titles.

How do I sign up for a paralegal student, staff, or faculty AccessLaw™ account?

If you are a law student, recent graduate, faculty, or staff at Cerritos College, Santa Ana College, University of San Diego, or American River College, request your access at https://research.ceb.com/register/academic.

For your unique school code, ask your law librarian or email Griffin Ferry at griffin.ferry@ceb.ucla.edu.

Do I have to use my school email address to create my free AccessLaw™ account?

While not required, we strongly encourage law students, faculty, and staff to use their law school email address to create a free account.


For how long does my AccessLaw Program membership last?

Paralegal students retain their AccessLaw Program membership for the duration of their studies and 18 months post-graduation.

Paralegal faculty and staff retain their AccessLaw Program membership for the duration of their employment with the paralegal institution.

Adjunct faculty retain their AccessLaw Program membership for the duration of their employment with the paralegal institution.

Do adjunct faculty need to re-register every year that they teach a course?

No. Adjunct faculty who teach annually will retain their AccessLaw Program membership as long as they are affiliated with the paralegal institution.

How soon after signing up will I have access to my free account?

AccessLaw registration is fully automated and members receive immediate access to their account.

I would like to use a CEB practice book and/or action guide in the class that I am teaching. Do my students have free access to practice books and/or action guides?

Yes, paralegal students who create free accounts have access to all CEB digital titles.
