If you’re coming from Classic, you’ll notice a cleaner, more modern design that makes navigation simpler and research more efficient. You’ll still be able to access Classic through the navigation menu, but in OnLaw Pro you’ll also gain streamlined access to Daily News, California primary law, and your account information—all alongside the trusted California content you already rely on.

Yes. Your saved searches, history, bookmarks, and pins will all carry over, and you’ll also have the option to favorite secondary sources, which will appear right on your homepage for easy access.

We’ve redesigned the CEB legal research experience to make it faster, cleaner, and easier to use. Updates include:
Redesigned Home Page – A cleaner, more efficient interface.
Central Search Box – Google-like simplicity for quick access.
All-in-One Search View – Smarter results across all content types in one screen.
Improved Autocomplete – Faster, more accurate suggestions.
Pinned Favorites – Keep your most-used resources at your fingertips.
Simpler Navigation – The content landing pages are listed across the top, instead of hidden inside a drop-down menu. To return to the homepage, click the “OnLAW Pro” logo in the upper left corner.
Dedicated Primary Law Pages – Easier access to cases, statutes, and rules, with a clear view of what is included in our database.
Daily News Access - The six most recent Daily News articles appear on the home page, just below the central search box. For the full library, go to the News tab.

No. All existing content remains. What’s changing is how you access it.

No. There’s no additional cost for these enhancements. They’re automatically included in your subscription.

Yes. Boolean search is still fully supported. You can continue using it as you always have, or try Natural Language search for broader, context-driven results.
