If you're located in the same physical office, you can network the Essential Forms clients with the help of your IT person:
a.) Either share Essential Form client data in a "peer-to-peer" setup designating one of the stations as the "server" and giving full control- read, write and modify permissions to the "Essential Forms Data" folder. The data folder for Essential Forms is under C:/Users/Public/Documents/CEB/Essential Forms Data. Go to the other station, and open Essential Forms, click Configure>Data Directory and click "browse" to navigate to the data folder on the designated "server" station. You might need to map a drive in order to browse to the Essential Forms Data folder location on that other station.

b.) Copy/Paste one of the Essential Forms Data folders from C:/Users/Public/Documents/CEB/Essential Forms Data onto a NAS device or Windows server and repoint all the stations in Essential Forms by clicking, Configure>Data Directory. In the Select Data Directory window, click "browse" to navigate to the Essential Forms Data folder on the NAS (or Windows server). Repeat repointing on each station. You might need to map a drive in order to browse to the Essential Forms Data folder on the NAS.

Terms of Use: Essential Forms may be installed on one computer. For convenience Essential Forms may be installed on one additional computer at an alternate workplace such as a home office. To install Essential Forms and use the materials on a local area network, wide area network, or any other multiple-user computer hardware/software configuration within a single firm, agency, or company, a specific license for such network or multiple user use must be obtained from CEB by calling Customer Service at 1-800-232-3444, press #1.
